Anxiety affects socializing skills. It can called as Social Anxiety, a discomfort or a fear when a person is in social interactions that involve a concern about being judged or evaluated by others. It is typically characterized by an intense fear of what others are thinking about them specifically fear of embarrassment, criticism, or rejection which results in the individual feeling insecure, not good enough for other people, and/or the assumption that peers will automatically reject them. Developmental social anxiety occurs early in childhood as a normal part of the development of social functioning, and is a stage that most children grow out of, but it may persist or resurface and grow into chronic social anxiety. It's okay to be less social, People naturally vary in how social they are. Some have dozens of friends who they are constantly hanging out with or texting. Other people have a lower drive to be social, which can show in a variety of ways that they are content to have limited number of friends or they are afraid to choose a friend. Some believe that becoming less social keep themselves safe or free.
